This paper aims to identify the role of NU and Muhammadiyah educational institutions in preventing potential for radicalism Lamongan Malang, which are well known as basis radicalism. In this research, method used by researcher is part field research uses a phenomenology perspective. The result that have an essential breaking chain radicalism, Nahdlatul Ulama did with their aswaja values al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan values. existence can be movement tolerance addressing diversity within internal Muslims or among other religions, daily lives cannot separated from various kinds differences.
